life’s seasons

Life’s seasons

Frost on

Frozen morning dew

Guardian of the few

Looking on

Protecting what is left

She does her best

Time on

Enjoying what is now

To nature she must bow

Future on

Silently she will wait

For mother nature to fill her plate…

Once again.

  1. Beautiful poem.

I don’t know a lot about the many types of poetic structure (I learn a lot of that from Sahm); however, I do like the structure of this poem and its rhythm.

Is that honeysuckle? I am mostly clueless when it comes to plants. I can’t believe we are getting frost already.
